These aren't the best pictures (they were taken with Doug's camera phone since we didn't bring our camera)...Last night we went to a free concert in the park, and it was fantastic. The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra performed. The girls were interested through about the first two pieces, then we lost their attention. But luckily, we had picked a spot right near the river so they could play in the sand, around this tree, etc. while Doug and I listened to the music.
As you can tell, some people just bring their boats and sit off to the side and watch/listen to the concert. We really enjoyed ourselves and it was good free fun. We need to do this kind of thing more often.

Those are good concerts - we normally go to them, but Saturday we were side-tracked with Ty's Mimi's death. Anyway, glad you go to attend one of those concerts! Yes, we like to take advantage to as many of the free fun things we can!
