Yesterday morning I picked up my nephew Dallin and nieces Delaney and Hadley so that their mom Jennifer could get a day's rest after having a new baby last week.
During the car ride, they somehow got on the topic of marriage, and the conversation ended up something like this:
Delaney: Maybe we could marry each other.
Dallin: No, we can't because it is against the law.
Delaney: Yeah, because we know each other, huh?
Dallin: Yeah, you can only marry someone that you don't know.
And we wonder why there are so many divorces!
