Gulf of Mexico
Sunday after church we decided to check out the Mississippi Beaches. We have heard they aren't great, but really it wasn't too bad. It was just too hot, is all! The girls had fun playing in the surf and watching the mullets jump. We didn't bring swimsuits so they went out in their clothes and got wet anyway. Here is a slideshow of our beach fun.

Believe me, the waveland and bay st. louis beaches were much better PRE-Katrina. Of course, they aren't Florida beaches and all the white sand has to be trucked in.... but the kids always enjoyed it. I wouldn't go swimming in it just yet - there is still lots of garbage and debris out there. Ugh! Dang that Hurricane!
I'm thinking a July 4th road trip to Perdido Key...anybody in?
